Sea-Dweller 116600: How 40mm Wears on a Smaller Wrist

The knock against the Sea-Dweller is that it's a big watch. On paper, 40mm and a case built for depth, it reads like something that only works on a broad wrist. In the metal it's more reasonable than its reputation. The lugs are short and turn down hard, so the 116600 sits close and doesn't hang past a 6.5-inch wrist the way the number suggests.

The black ceramic bezel and black dial keep it visually contained. No color, no date cyclops fuss on the outside — it stays a tight, dark circle instead of sprawling. That reads smaller than a two-tone or a lighter dial would.
